Brookline Legacy Fund
Brookline Legacy FundIn 2005, the Town celebrated Brookline’s 300th Anniversary. The goals of the Brookline 300 celebration planners were to increase knowledge of Brookline's past, celebrate the diversity of Brookline today, and build on its strengths for the future by forging new connections between residents. Brookline Legacy Fund was created through the commitment and persistence of Robert Allen, Jr., a town Selectman, who was acting as a private citizen when he asked Stacey Lucchino and Jack Connors to co-host a fundraising event at Fenway Park, the proceeds of which were used to create the Fund. Administered through the BCF, Brookline Legacy Fund supports projects that further the goals of the Brookline 300. |
