Y(our) Funds
The Brookline Community Foundation invites you to create your own Named or Donor Advised fund (for far less than the cost of administering a private foundation), or to donate to existing Field of Interest and Designated Funds.
Named Funds provide you an opportunity to support your charitable interests in Brookline.
· For example, The Vaule Fund for Arts and Culture supports cultural and artistic initiatives in Brookline.
Donor Advised Funds allow you to recommend grant recipients.
· For example, The Legacy Fund, created by former Selectman Robert Allen, supports projects that contribute to Brookline’s cultural legacy.
Field of Interest Funds support grants in an area or field of community interest.
· For example, The Environmental Stewardship Fund supports citizen leadership and stewardship of our natural resources.
Designated Funds support an organization or program.
· For example, The Steps to Success Fund, supports the public-private partnership program, Steps to Success, which provides academic support and enrichment for low income students, with the goal of making college an aspiration and a goal.
