BASIC NEEDS: BCF exists to improve the quality of life for all residents. One of the Foundation’s key strategic focuses is making sure that no one in Brookline goes without shelter, food or basic necessities. With 13% of the population living at or below the poverty line, and many others just making ends meet, there are many Brookline individuals and families in need. SENIORS: Already home to 7,500 residents age 65 and older, this is one of the fastest growing demographics in town.
